‘Clean’ for us means free from harmful toxic ingredients. We have listed the key ingredients below that have been criticised widely (authorized or unauthorized) and you won’t ever find in the products of all our partner brands.
Labeled as: methyl-, ethyl-, butyl-, propyl- paraben. A Preservative found in various personal care products.
Labeled as: Fragrance, Parfum, Perfume, and hidden under Phthalates.
Labeled as: Petroleum Jelly, Mineral Oil, Vaseline, Paraffinum. Emollient found in 1 in every 14 personal care and beauty products in the market.
Labeled as: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA), and Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT). Preservatives found in lipsticks, moisturizers, and shampoo.
Labeled as: PEG, Polyethylene, Polyethylene Glycol, Polyoxyethylene, Ceteareth-20. Surfactants, Emulsifiers and Skin Conditioners found in cream bases.
Labeled as: Formaldehyde, Quanternium-15, DMDM hydantoin, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Diazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate. A preservative found in nail polish and hair products.
Labeled as: Triclosan. A preservative found in liquid soaps and washes.
Labeled as: DBP (dibutyl phthalate), DEP (diethyl phthalate), BPA (Bisphenol), and ‘hidden under fragrance’. Plasticizer and Skin Conditioner banned in de EU but commonly found in many cosmetics in the US.
