It's time for my annual SCOON favourites again! Maybe you still need some inspiration for Christmas presents, or you want to use this as a reason to treat yourself. Last year I received great feedback, so I've created another one for this year.
A lot has happened since last year. Not only have we grown very rapidly in terms of size, we are now with a team of 6, we also offer a much wider range including the most beautiful eco-friendly clothing and accessory brands. Even more goods to choose from! Here we go.
I'm about to buy this hat and gloves. Soft, warm and cosy. Honestly made of 100% alpaca wool.
This plaid for in the house is very high on my list. The brand Alpaca Loca works with 100% alpaca wool which is hand woven by a community in Ecaudor and fairly compensated.
I love scented candles (that look nice and are not too intense in smell). You don't gift it to yourself that easily, but why not? These candles from Matt and Nat are soy based with natural oils and highly recommended.
This fine hand cream is quite 'handy' with all the hand washing, and also looks nice: Intensive hand cream from Grown Alchemist.
Bath Soak The Tides Wellness - super nice bath salt, with magnesium for a better night's sleep. The beautiful bottle and the bath soak itself are made in the Netherlands on the basis of Dutch seaweed.
Le Nap pyjama dress - an oversized shirt dress for sleeping and hanging around in your house. They also come in many other colours as well as in pants and tops.
Grown Alchemist handwash - Love this hand wash. Perfect for your kitchen / on your counter top, and always great to gift.
ILIA mascara and eyeliner. ILIA has been my go-to make up brand since SCOON. It comes from Canada and is now for sale all over the world. High quality, like all other more famous brands, but without mess and nice to use. I use the mascara and eyeliner (and foundation) and am super happy with it.
Madara City CC - I use this on top of my day cream every morning. It's slightly tinted so it makes my skin more even - sometimes this is all I use when I go out but most of the time I use powder on top of it but that's it. By the way, I use the medium color, but it's also available in 'light'.
BYBI Babe Balm - this is and will always be a great alternative to Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream. You can use it for your lips, hands, rough spots, even with kids. And it looks very cozy in your bag ;)
Knotty ones sweaters or cardigans - beautiful soft sweaters and cardigans made by women who otherwise wouldn't have had a chance on the job market and can now provide for themselves.
Teym sweaters - also a nice gift for your husband ;) they come in any color you want and will last for years. Fine, high quality and for a good price. I've got these in stripes myself and I got my husband the light blue version. This brand comes from Amsterdam and only develops classic items that don't go out of style and can last for years.
Minois is not only my favourite at home, the kids also love it. Great bubbles, lovely smell.
Gift card - When in doubt... This gift card can be mailed or sent (in a nice box). It's valid for one year and is a great gift ;)
