You don’t have time to take part in a 10 step skincare routine every morning and night because of your busy daily routine? We totally get it. To help you on your way, we’ve put together a simple three step routine which can be implemented once or twice a day to help you look and feel good, and we can assure you this routine can be done within just 3 minutes.
Step 1. Cleanser (30 - 40 seconds)
Cleansing should always be the first step in your skincare routine. A cleanser removes any dirt which may clog up your pores and lead to breakouts. Step 2. Toner (50 seconds)
Follow the cleanser with a good quality toner. We suggest a herbal toner, because these are usually derived from plant sources and will not leave any harmful residue on your skin. A toner thoroughly cleanses all the dirt and grime which the cleanser may not have picked up. Take a little more time with this one to make sure you achieve a deep cleanse.
Step 3. Moisturise (1 minute)
After cleansing and toning, apply moisturiser to hydrate your face before you start putting on makeup. This will keep your skin from drying out during the day as dryness causes the skin to lose elasticity, and then fine lines would start to appear. It’s always best to use a moisturiser that contains SPF to protect your skin from sun damage.
At night, a heavier moisturiser will bring back your skin’s lost moisture and help rejuvenate it for the next day. Most moisturisers have anti-aging properties to counter signs of premature ageing, fine lines, and other skin issues as well. Choose one that works best for your skin type and needs.
This beauty routine requires simple steps and very basic products, but it’s a great way to begin implementing a skincare routine and getting into the habit of looking after your skin.
